The premium hackamores are made from the same rope has the premium double braid polyester halters and uses
Samson Stable Braid in white, OR solid black, black/blue tracer, pink or purple Samson EQ Braid for the mecate
reins. (indicate in instruction box what color for the rein. If no indication is made, I'll send white. Mecate reins are
made with a continuous piece of 22 ft. rope, the loop reins are approximately 9 ft., and the lead is approximately
11 feet. They include a tassle on the top end and quality leather popper on the backspliced weighted lead rope
end. They come tied and ready to use. See halter page for color options.
Split Rein Hackamore $45.00
This hackamore is a little more versatile. It comes with a halter,
your choice of size and color and includes the rope rein. The rein is
a one piece of 12 ft. rope. Your rein color choices are white (Stable
Braid), or solid black, black/blue tracer, pink, or purple in EQ Braid.
The reins are tied in so you have split reins. If you want to use it as
a lead, you can loosen and slide the rope to one side and presto a
leadrope for tying or training. Need to ride, slide back toward the
center and tighten. Available in halter colors shown on halter page.
